Touch Typing Courses for Children and Adults
Bespoke courses from home, with weekly personal feedback

Typeify offers structured, personalised touch typing courses that teach students to type quickly and accurately without looking at the keyboard. All courses are completed from home using our online learning platform, with weekly feedback and a personal lesson plan tailored to each student's progress.
Whether your child is working towards their Duke of Edinburgh's Award, wants to build a skill for school and beyond, or you'd like to make the most of the Easter holidays, there's a Typeify course to suit you.
WHY TOUCH TYPING MATTERS
A skill for school, exams and life
Touch typing is one of the most practical skills a young person can learn. Once it becomes second nature, it frees up mental energy to focus on what they're actually writing, whether that's GCSE coursework, A-level essays, or university applications.
Most young people grow up typing with two fingers, hunting for each key. Touch typing replaces that habit with a proper technique, using all ten fingers from memory. Students who learn to touch type typically become faster, more accurate and less fatigued when working at a computer.
The earlier they learn, the longer they benefit.
HOW IT WORKS
Simple, structured, and fully guided
Every Typeify student receives the same personal, hands-on approach from day one through to course completion.

STEP 1:
Welcome Pack arrives
As soon as you've booked, we post out your Welcome Pack. It includes a colour-coded USB keyboard to help with finger placement and a printed activity booklet to use alongside the online lessons.

STEP 3:
Feedback and guidance
Throughout the course, each student's progress is reviewed individually and a personal email is sent with feedback, tips and the lesson plan for the following session.

STEP 2:
Log in and get started
Students work through a personalised lesson plan on our online platform, practising for around an hour a week at whatever time suits them. Short video guides cover everything from setting up to correct posture and technique.

STEP 4:
The course and beyond
By the end of the course, students are touch typing using all of their fingers and without looking down at the keyboard. This is the strong foundation they'll carry forward for years.
About Pippa

When my parents sent me on a touch typing course at the age of 13, I had no idea it would turn out to be the most useful thing I ever learned.
Touch typing saved me thousands of hours throughout my career, and I set up Typeify because I wanted to help as many people as possible learn this skill before they need it.
Every student gets a real tutor, personal feedback, and a course built around how people actually learn.
